mahirap kasi pag tainted waters.
its much easier for the government to make rain water catchment inside metro manila. Dito kahit el nino inuulan eh si ondoy panahon ng el nino yan. Wag na gambalain probinsya to make dams. Tayo may kailangan so dito dapat sa loob metro manila.
Mahirap uminom pag galing sa dagat or ilog. Dami filtration dadadaanan. Its not comparable sa rainwater.
patayo lang ng patayo ng condo at cbd mga kapitalista. wala na palang tubig at kuryente.
sa daming kapitalista wala ba talaga nakaisip mag venture sa business that covers our real basic needs.
sa water why not build desalination plant tapos benta nila sa maynilad and mwss, etc etc...
tapos sa kuryente naman instead of puro coal plant why not an incineration plant that can produce power, they can solve metro manila waste somehow, makapag supply pa ng kuryente sa grid.
There was one before, a garbage incinerator plant that also produced electricity. 1950s yata naitayo. Located behind the present QC General Hospital. There was a very tall smoke stack. Still, when it was running, the residents of project 8 hated it. The smell of the smoke was bad. Especially during cold mornings when the smoke would cool down and blanket the surrounding area. The residents were all very happy when it finally got so old that the government had to stop its operation and tore it down.
But for good reason doc. Burn plastics and other synthetic materials and you get carcinogens. Good business if you happen to be an oncologist.
Check my post before yours above. I live in project 8 where the garbage incinerator used to be. Mabaho doc. Imagine waking up on a cold december morning to the smell of burning garbage.
there was this article, decades ago.
there was a power generator in europe, burning garbage for fuel.
to show how clean it was, they put a restaurant at the top.
but yes,
locating it far from the population, is a good idea.
pati pagsisiga para mausukan ang puno at sumagana ang bunga, pinagbawal nila.

Maganda na din considering malayo yung bagyo sa angat. So next bagyo kahit rizal, pampanga, and better mismo bulacan ang bilis nyan mapuno.
nice info you got there.... i didnt know that. wala pa ko sa earth nyan. hehe. ang naabutan ko na incinerator is yun sa coastal na, tapos nawala na din yun ngayon. tsaka ang purpose lang ata nun is sunugin ang trash walang electricity na kasama.
i agree na hinde nga pwede malapit sa kabihasnan ang incinerator, mas ok sa malayong lugar or isang isla para walang ma peperwisyo.
This is how Singapore do it... (excuse the video quality)
