^dams up north serves as far as Imus cavite down south

The lakes (Laguna de bay & taal) down south are the a little bit more expensive alternative to augment the dams up north

The transformation of dirty water to potable water are wonders brought about by science (water treatment). It doesn't mean it came from filthy water it's still dirty after treatment

The only 2 processes that come to mind are 1.) Vacuum distillation, using waste heat from a power plant, very high capex needed, and 2.) Reverse osmosis, still expensive but less on maintenance. If you refer to the process of mere filtration, chlorination and aeration that is still a sh!t-in-sh!t-out process, it does not remove the industrial and domestic pollutants in the water.

And if you are going to use any of the 2, why not start with relatively clean water instead. The Philippines is surrounded by sea water.

And im seriouly considering installing a quality rain water catchment for showering and drinking as in tubig na pwede ko gamtin sa lahat ng bagay. Sa nakikita ko kung walang prevention ng condominium eh mas lalo gagrabe water crisis. So much as well i rely to myself.

Meron small size reverse osmosis filter system with UV light sterilzers sa Home Depot. Meron din dati sa Wilcon pero last time i was there parang wala na.

nagkatipon tipon kami ng groupo ko.

may napaplano bumili na naman ng kotse. Sobrang laki ng garahe kahit ibalandra mo sa gitna ok lang.

Pero inadvisan ko na problemahin muna tubig. Perfect yung bahay nya pagimbakan ng rainwater. Mahirap yung madami pera pero hindi nakapaghanda kung may dumating na crisis.
