    Pigs might fly

    Walk into the lion's den

Take the bull by the horns

    Smell a rat

    Bark up the wrong tree

    Play your cards right

    Keep a straight face

    To have itchy feet

    Keep your nose clean

    Let off steam.

    Ram something down someone's throat

Cost an arm and a leg

    To get cold feet

    Sell like hot cakes

    Go nuts

    Eat humble pie

    Like chalk and cheese.

Turn a blind eye to something

    Head Over Heels

    apple of my eye

    under the weather

    tie the knot

    straight from the horse mouth

spare the rod ,spoil the child

    saved by the bell

    skin of your teeth

    rise and shine

live by the sword ,die by the sword

    keep your chin up

    in the bag

    cold war

    graveyard shift

most of the idioms naman like "heaven sent" need no explanation cguro. stuff like "kick the bucket" eh galing pa cguro sa old english and may historical references kaya di ko alam kung bakit it refers to dying.

could you specify which ones you don't know the meaning of? I'm sure the guys here would gladly help you out. Me, my favorite is "spanking the monkey".
