I used to believe:

- that it was normal for the maid to be changing her clothes -- right in front of me. (I was a little boy back then, so sue me)

- that the sun wanted me to stay indoors, and that if I step out of the shade during the day, it would spite me by coming out of the clouds.

- that watching a double-feature in the moviehouse would give me a headache.

- that the only cure for bus-induced motion sickness was a trip to Jollibee.

- that going to sleep with your hair still wet causes them to turn white.

- that I'd be single forever.
