    excitement

Eto ang iwasan mo, try to get some sleep. Try to use na rin yong natural barrier, pag noon time, kaunti ang bumibyahe sa daan, lahat kasi nasa resto he he. So, adjust na lang sa pagkain, kaysa naman maasar sa traffic.

And confer with your passengers when and where to make a SCHEDULE stop. I don't have to describe it, just imagine naghirap kang mag-overtake sa bus and trucks, only to stop at a curbside dahil meron (you know what I mean).

make sure to make a scheduled stop sa mga gas stations along SLEX/NLEX para makapag check ka ulit sa sasakyan mo. usually pag may nadiscover kang sira mareremedyohan kagad.

sir suggestion lang. taga isabela ako e. hehehe

when driving please do maintain a gap of 2 or more vehicles from the vehicle in front of you. wag na wag mag tail gate unless sure ka sa gingawa mo. imho. wag nyo ako awayin ha. hehehe. many city drivers do get into accidents kasi di nila ma estimate yung speed and distance. iba kasi yung city speed like 10 or 30kph sa 100 or 140kph hiway speed. everything is faster. kung sa city e pwede ka makipag date kung sino ang mauna papasok sa lane or mag tail gate and bigla bigla papasok sa kabilang lane etc. sa hiway you have to be a defensive driver.

also marami bundok going to isabela and dami zigzag. mas malupit dito kaysa baguio. so maintain slow speed lang. marami din blind spots. take your time. makakrating ka rin naman sa pupuntahan mo.

regarding walkie talkie. di nyo rin magagamit yun unless iniwan kayo ng convoy nyo which is nawala yung essence ng "convoy" hehehe. may cellphones naman. tawagan mo nalang kung kailangan. madalas kasi pinapatay din or lower volume yung mga walkie talkie dahil natutulog na mga passengers.

After taking the necessary precautions, do this:

    - Bring your camera. You never know when a picture-perfect opportunity will arise.
    - Make stops. Soak up the scenery. Who knows, you may never take this way again.
    - Take your time and don't race. Like life, what's important is the journey, not the destination.
    - If possible, take a different path on your way home. It adds to the experience of your journey.
    - And like someone has said above, don't forget pasalubong for lola.

I know it sounds philosophical, but life's stressful as it is. So don't turn your journey into a chore that is soon forgotten rather turn it into an experience that you would never forget.

    Buhayin ko lang.

2 days to go long drive na naman. Ilang oras na naman kayang aabutin ko from Nueva Vizcaya to Pagudpud. Malayo-layo din to buti na lang nakakundisyon naman ang sasakyan fan belt na lang papalitan ko para sigurado mahirap ng maputulan.
