It's for a motor vehicle. Anybody have the latest charges?
*Swordsman: ah yes, sorry for unintentionally confusing you. hehe. 1% nga.
1% of the amount of the sold vehicle. Dito samin 80pesos lang pakyawan![]()
haha! totoo nga ang daming nagkalat. but be careful when it's for something that's very valuable or important. pag di pala tunay na notaryo yung napuntahan and for some reason there is a dispute, it may be decisive.
the legal effect of notarization is that it converts a private document into a public one and is necessary for validity of some transactions, but not for a deed of sale. A proper notary public normally charges P200-500.
mga sirs, suggest naman kayo ng notary public around QC area na medyo mura ang singil P200 - P500 will do. wala na time mag-ikot-ikot kasi to canvass. thanks!

Maximum allowed charge for notarization is 100 pesos as mandated by the Supreme Court. It is illegal to charge based on percentage of any sale, that includes real property.
recently sold my car, all docs nasa buyer na including photocopy of my passport and license plus 3 signatures. When she tried to have it notarized sa Binan City Hall, ayaw i notarized, kailangan daw yung seller nag papa notarized? mahigpit na daw sila ngayon, anyone of you experienced this?
if we read some of the notarized documents,
it states that the buyer and the seller both appeared physically in front of the notary public, to present their IDs, etc....
but i agree with the other post-ers here,
common knowledge is that some notaries public are very relaxed in their interpretation of the law.
