The new CT angiogram dont require a catheter. hence it is a little safer(less invasive) . Less than 50k and you're ruled out. Uses less than 30ml.
Why haven't they phased out angiogram? In my Dad's case, 1995 so I suppose wala pa CT angiogram but my Mom had hers fairly recent

They do about 10-30 cases day back when I was still around. Death rates are very very low there. In my opinion theyre atill the gold standard in our country. Hope you get good news soon.

Good to know that some government hospitals are gold standard like Philippine Heart Center and National Kidney Institute. But I wonder how the staffing and rooms are?

It's necessary padin. If the patient have really BAD symptoms, doctor calls for a "stat" or similar lol... nasa table na and simply getting tools to fix the blockage is easy.

If you need to know. You can ask for the results via
your moms cardiologist, you might be able to get it. Some hospitals keep them for 10years in their system.

My Mom's cardiologist passed away a few years ago from a HEART ATTACK He was such a good man and only in his 40s when it happened. And I'm not sure if they will disclose medical info e napaka strict ng US information
