How old is your wife? What were her symptoms? I constantly worry about having clogged arteries/block in my heart but my doctor told me not to worry as it's not likely to happen when a woman is of child bearing age

A quick CTAngiography can show how much blockage. A 4 second scan and viola. Prep takes the most time. Takbo sa cathlab IF necessary and the doctor and patient/husband agree.

Wtf angiogram? That's kinda invasive and so expensive. They will put dye into your heart dba. Saka hindi naman basta mag order ng angiogram ang cardio.

Baka pagtawanan ako ng cardio ko if I ask for one (and never will voluntarily subject myself to that)

Going 45 this year, doctor said it runs in the family
, our doctor is also the doctor of my father in law kaya he knows the history. No symptoms naman, but everytime she had her ecg, iba daw yung graph nya, kaya this time, our doctor ask her to do a stress test, walking the graph is OK, but when she runs, the graphs would go down.

Problem is, she's afraid, ayaw nya, meron kasi kaming kilala, mom nya died last year, the day her mom died, nag angiograph sila, walang nakita, and after angiograph, wala pang ilang hours, na stroke mom nya, sabi ng wife ng friend namin, dahil daw ito sa dye that was injected before angiography kaya namatay yung mom, kaya ayun, takot na si wifey.

If the patient suffers from some symptoms then the physician will refer an angiogram. Physican has to rule out or if urgent, treatment agad.

Re angiogram, my Dad had it in 1995 and my Mom in 2012, in both instances, takot na takot ako, not just with the result but the procedure as well. Nakakatakot talaga yun may insert sa heart at lagyan ng dye. My Mom had hers done in the US and they told me halos routine na angiogram (very different from when my Dad had his in the 90s)

I heard sobrang galing nga sa Philippine Heart Centre so it should be easy na rin. I do hope na normal heart ng wife mo, she's too young to have health issues. Hirap talaga pag nag 40 na, dami lumalabas na sakit.

Coronary angiogram uses a catheter to inject the contrast. The procedure is the gold standard hence the gold price.

The new CT angiogram dont require a catheter. hence it is a little safer(less invasive) . Less than 50k and you're ruled out. Uses less than 30ml.
