these devices have been out for a while and i didnt buy til i see tv ads. i researched and confirmed that it can work, very safe, and drug free. i paid $40 for mine, but they vary now that many brands and types are out.

i developed back pain when i was back there in manila in the early 90s. likely from basketball and all the injuries (trophies hehehe) associated with it.

I'm in constant pain because of my back My doctor said it could be because of my weight gain. I have scoliosis pa naman. I hope it's just that and not kidney or gall bladder stones or anything worse

BTT: Feeling nervous for the tests I will undergo today. I hope all the results are normal.

Whatever the result at least you will find out already. Already on the path to wellness.

If it is your back there are exercises that can help. I have scolio too. Been managing it for a while now. Tens unit also helps a lot. Also hot packs and massages.

I'm curious about this tens unit.

The nephro said that my back pain is likely because of my weight gain but he said na just to rule it out, we'll check my kidneys na rin. He practically said the same as my cardiologist that I'm too young to get sick. I need to diet and exercise lang talaga

then the solution is weight loss! no ifs, no buts.
everything else, is probably just a temporary solution, dahil "pataba nang pataba" na pag tumatanda na...

It's so hard to lose weight. When I was in my teens and 20s, I could easily lose 10 lbs in one month MAX. I am not sure I can still do that now. I have no inspiration anymore to look good :P

Although my boss teases me that I am the evil queen from Snow white. Whenever he wants to tease me he says "Mirror mirror" HAHAHA. He is the mirror daw because he always has to reassure me But I said he fits the role of the Prince better Okay din daw hahaha

Losing weight makes it easier for your body organs to maintain your body. From your heart to your kidneys to your lungs..... Exercise and keeping your weight down helps. They're not working as hard.

We don't have to work as hard as Mr. Big. Something as simple as walking an hour a day and moderating certain foods are enough to lose weight.

upper back pain is caused by too much stored fats. your spinal column nabibigatan nasa dala-dala araw araw ng body mo. do you have big hips? dun naman napupunta ang ice cream, coffee milk-based, and other dairy drinks and creams. lower back fats, sigurado yan nestea iced tea, pag back and front tummy tipong salbabida. malakas sa kanin at beer. fat cheeks, malakas sa liempo, at porkchops, afobo o any rich in oil filipino ulam. pag malakas sa salty foods, sigurado yan ang tagal lumabas ang pawis or malagkit ang pawis na nag-stick sa skin like some sor of pinahiran ka ng transparent grease. pag pawisin ang kilikili at batok, malakas sa toyo, patis, suka, garlic and other spicy foods

Yeah those gadgets are laughable. Even so the people who buy them. But I believe that weight loss is 80% diet and 20% exercise.

    heh heh.
i think that would depend... on what you're eating and how you're exercising.
but let's wait for a more authoritative source.

It is hard for me to control eating sugar (chocolates and pastries) I can't go a day without it. Parang sumasakit ulo ko.

Portion control is hard for some people too. I have an officemate who eata cr*p food. Lahat processed and high in sugar and sodium. He doesn't drink water too. Omg.

I do believe na people are overweight because either they eat too much or eat the wrong food

para sa kin, most Filipinos are overweight because they are not self-aware. even in improving EQ, self-awareness is key. the best way to start in the self-awareness journey is to fully comprehend the concept of the 7 deadly sins to oneself or yourself. with more emphasis on , Greed, Gluttony Sloth and Pride.

filipinos are overweight becoz of conditioning, bombarded sila ng food ads ng empty calories....a typical 175lb male has a base metabolic rate of 2625 calories...this is how an average male office worker eats, he has...
    breakfast
    10am break
    lunch
    3pm merienda
    dinner
    late snack(if need be)

i used myfitnesspal and here are the results..

i didnt include night outs or pizza night, condiments, cooking oil..etc...just food in general for typical day working individual...even if we remove the late night snack...its still 4000 calories a day...thats why we are overweight, compounded pa ng lack of activity...
