How do you Drive?

A couple of days ago, my wife comes home from her sales planning conference in Tagaytay complaining of a headache and dizzyness due to the way her officemate drives. He says it keeps him alert and makes the drive less "boring."

How about you, how do you drive?

Sort of an aggressive-defensive hybrid... fast enough to leave most traffic behind when traffic is light. When traffic is heavy or moderate, I just go with the flow - I stick to my lane.

light foot on the gas (rpm not exceeding 2.5k)...not breaking too hard, not slow naman to the point na hazard na ako sa cars behind me...smooth lang, cruising mode kumbaga!

That's why my old folks wouldn't want to ride in any car kung hindi ako ang driver especially pag long drive...hehe!

eerr yah somewhere between smooth and agressive... but leanin more towards agressive when im alone.. smooth pag family ang kasama sa car..

i try to be as smooth as possible.

one time, a passenger asked me if the car was an automatic or a manual. when i said manual, sabi niya akala niya automatic kasi smooth na smooth daw

I normally go 5 mph over the posted speed limit and that's it. But once the freeway hits 75 mph, I'm happy to stick to that speed.

Whoops. Double post.

But, I also should add that the speed limit in Fallon NV is 25 mph (40 kph). I've seen cops give out speeding tickets to those who did 30 mph (48 kph). I definitely have an easy foot there whenever I visit.

i usually go out during the lean hours, para pwedeng pa-petek-petek lang ang maneho.

noong binata pa ako, mga 17, kumakapa pa sa driving so alanganing mabilis at mabagal..

by 18-23 i drive like what i saw in initial D, lalo kung yung maxima/kiapride dala ko, wreckless but careful-->aba dami at layo kong alis na di nila alam at kaya ako natutuong 100%maintained ang sasakyan ko dahil sa ganun, down side lang takaw ko sa gas/crudo! and i need to get from point-to point as fast as i could (stroll mall/punta tagaytay/bulacan/montalban kami ni GF(central) or "just school->hatid GF(central)->punta FEU->hatid GF(north)->go antipolo-punta GF(south)" )..kaya ayaw ko nang ulitn ganung life:3 pinupuntahan ko!

now, nung nagka-asawa ako by 23, unti-unting gumaan ang paa ko sa pedal, i maintained the careful but i replaced my "wrecklessness and non-fuel concious me" to a more efficient and smooth driver...

now, wag mo akong asahan tumakbo ng 100kph sa NLEX, sayang ang crudo noh! ako na kasi nagbabayad

fast but smooth...i'm usually one of the faster drivers on the road, but i don't weave in and out of lanes. i never tailgate and hardly ever slams on my brakes ( i slow down, then stop).
