I am currently having our house built. Per Day ang Labor. I buy the materials. 2-Storey House, ~170 SQM total floor area. More than a year ago, pinastart ko yung 1st floor, it costs me around 450K, slab na yun sa taas. then tinirhan naman for more than a year. Now, pinapagawa ko na ung second floor, 320K na nagagastos ko, malamang aabot ng 500K, for the tiles and other finishings. So, parang Php1M lang magagastos ko all in all, That's roughly Php6,000 per SQM..

June 9th, 2013 12:10 AM #2slapz, balak ko rin magpatayo ng house next year after ko mabayaran lote. What you are able to accomplish is really amazing. I would like to get tips from you pano mo nagawa yan. Nagpa-design ka ba sa architect tapos foreman na lang kinuha mo instead of contractor?
I would like to get advice from sir VW sana pero mukhang big time na sya if I'm not mistaken to have time for small house project.

Complicated ba magpa-cement and tile ng lupa?
I need to have a portion of our perimeter tiled and gated. Our contractor family friend estimated 10 to 15 days. I was surprised because the area is so smallI am not sure if it is cheaper for me to just tile the whole area. We have bamboo on our perimeter and I don't want it cut. Maybe that complicates the tiling and drainage? Also, how much is the going rate of a contractor now? x percent of materials and labor diba? Ayaw kasi niya magpabayad so the last time he did repairs for us, my Mom just gave 10% ata of labor+materials.
