An alleged sound engineer who was presented at the height of the "Hello,Garci" wiretapping controversy died Saturday in a traffic accident in Quezon City.
A Quezon City Police District spot report revealed that Jonathan Mallora Tiongco, 36, of Ideal Subdivision in Fairview, was severely injured after he accidentally rammed his Toyota Avanza (ZHE 496) at a dump truck right across the Commission on Audit building on Commonwealth Avenue at 3:50 a.m.
Concerned citizens brought Tiongco to Far Eastern University Hospital where he died at 5 p.m. His remains are now interred at St. Peter Funeral Homes along Quezon Avenue.
The management of St. Peter's Funeral Homes has barred ABS-CBN News from entering the building.
Tiongco was presented as an audio expert by then environment secretary Michael Defensor during the "Hello, Garci!" wiretap controversy.
nakow.... sigurado, the conspiracy theorists would think otherwise about this. Specially with the news that some senator-elect would want to revive the investigation on the hello garci tapes. haayyy buhay
Jonathan Tiongco aka DJ Jamtrax. He was a damn good DJ. His New Wave Megamix CD's were very good.

This guy is notorious for several pending cases. He shot and almost killed a man in Iloilo. He was on the list of wanted people for music piracy. He was featured on TV for physically abusing his wife. He is wanted for issuing bouncing checks for computers he purchased in Virra Mall. Here were his words when he was confronted for the bouncing checks issue. "Nakapatay na ako dati. Puntahan mo nalang ako dito sa bahay para masaya."
Mahilig talaga sa basag-ulo itong taong ito. He dared his critics once na mag-suntukan na lang sila para malaman kung sinong nag-sasabi ng totoo. Pati si Gen. Angelo Reyes nun sinangkot niya sa kidnapping.
Dun sa report ng ABS-CBN, even former Amb. Roy Seneres himself said that he thinks there was no foul play involved
