Hardest to learn in Basic Driving for you

This was not part of the driving test. But, I learned it anyway:

Backing up in a parking lot and into a parking slot facing out. 50% of the time I get it just right the first time. The other 50% is where I had to pull forward and make adjustments so that the spacing is even on both sides.

Tapos, may hila (dahil nga paurong ka,- tulak na) ka pang trailer.... Big challenge!

Ayon, subsob ng subsob yung kotse kung nag brake ako while I was trying to drive off the rental car parking lot.
Buti na lang, instinct + muscle memory took over by the time I got out and merged with the main road. By then, my right foot automatically remembered na brake + gas pa rin ang role niya, and wala nang role ang left foot.

It was the other way around with me. I have always kept in mind that i use my right foot for the gas and the brake.

And so, years ago, after being assigned for x months in the US, and coming back here,- my first instinct was to just press on the gas pedal and not to shift gear,- it was awkward, especially on my first few attempts to get over the hump in the village. Stopping at the toll gate was also an awkward experience as the engine died on me...

Reverse uphill na one lane. Hindi ko kaya, feeling ko tatamaan ko yung mga nakaparadang tricycle.

Sisiw siya sa ate ko though.

Corner lot kasi kami and mas okay sana magpark sa gilid kasi dead end, hindi daanan ng tao.

Pwede naman forward uphill, pero parang mas mahirap umatras nang nakatirik ka.

How about driving around an MT car with a defective /unusable clutch? You have to time the gear shifting with the gas pedal to make it work.

Hanging at inclines. Naalala ko nung newbie pa ako nagpunta kami ng tagaytay tapos di pa swabe ang pagshi-shift ko. I was really shook lol.

Hardest to learn sa basic sa tingin yun paggamit ng signal light. Daming hindi gumagamit eh, lalo na kapag change lane
