^ouch!
happy thanksgiving day to all our US based tsikoteers.......
Hahaha! Angas!
I miss the pumpkin pie more than the 'turkey'... :hysterical:
14.4K:out:
hahahaha mga engots sa kalye
pero seriously, what's with the thanksgiving greeting here in the Phils?
baka pati Martin Luther King Day, Groundhog Day, Memorial Day i-celebrate na din natin
I have a filthy rich uncle who actually celebrates thanksgiving.
They even go out of their way to buy and roast a turkey.
The thing is... that uncle of mine never ever lived in the US. He goes there often for vacation, but has never lived there.
Yun mga nag greet sa FB, these are people na hinde alam Kung bakit sin celebrate ng US and thanksgiving ask them bakit meronnTG 100% hinde nila alam
syempre para kunwari sosyal.
actually bro too much horse power for a dumb driver, corvette's handles pretty well but you have to be a decent driver to drive it to it's full potential. this is why you don't go from a civic to a 300hp+ car all of the sudden.
it was no laughing matter, back then.
it was a matter of life and death.
they survived, hence the celebration.
we would do well to understand the situation back then, instead of making fun of it.
but yes.
our immigrant relatives across the ocean celebrated their first thanksgiving with a roast turkey.
by xmas, it was still there in the ref.
and new year.
and valentine's.
no one complained when it had mysteriously disappeared by Easter.
i like turkey with the fixin's.
without fixin's, turkey is just one big tasteless mass of fowl meat.

they are just tasteless.
the best tasting fowl eh duck talaga. Its chinese.![]()
The New England part of the US is crawling with wild turkeys. So, yeah. The turkey became associated with Thanksgiving. But, if anyone cares, this is our Thanksgiving leftovers. No turkey. The whole idea is to be thankful there's food on the table.
New York esp is a haven for wild turkeys. So few are hunted nowadays there are flocks of them in suburban areas.
Oh. There's plenty of duck here ( I mean back in NY) too. But, they migrate south for the winter. The turkeys don't. They ride out the winter.
