I've always asked my girlfriends that question.

Actually, I am puzzled why they even need to bring a bag as everything can be bought along the way, anywhere.

Ako ayoko may dalang bag. I don't even like holding anything.

Marami kasi silang bitbit na “kalat” eh hanggang sa tumagal naging dapat may pangalan na natural mahal. Parang mga wallet ng ilang kalalakihan na nananambok sa kung ano anong laman

Parang damit kasi yang bag ng babae according my aunts. Other women immediately sizes up the bag that the other is using, para bang status symbol.

Although trying to understand 'why' from a man's point of view is like how they (women) are trying to understand our passion for our rides

But not all women are the same. Merong mga iba na walang pake what bag they use so as long as it holds ALL their stuff hehehe.

*let's wait for the tsikot women's take on this*

Hahaha. Recently I have understood girls having passion for this.

Equivalent nito ng why buy a wheel set for your car na worth 100k+ wherein a set worth 20k will do the same thing. Or buy that 80K SLR camera wherein mura lang naman yun point and shoot. Or buy that 50" LCD TV rather than the 21" conventional TV.

May passion talaga girls with bags and shoes. Sa bags and shoes kasi it doesn't matter if the girl is thin or fat.

As a matter of fact, my cute office mate is very good in bags and shoes and she educates me with this, such as anong bags maganda sa Louis Vuitton (worth50 to 100K!) and where you could buy it cheap. Shoes from Salvatore Ferregamo (25K!) etc.

Pati mga exotic bags such as Hermes Bilkin.

my kumander said the bags "tie the whole outfit together".

which is why you can't use an "evening wear" bag with jeans and use it while you claim your birth certificate sa NSO (may "lakad" and "formal" and "casual" bags, apparently).

i don't have that special penchant for bags...i bought bags to pair with my shoes/slip ons. i should have a good pair of shoes first for me to buy a bag. most of the expensive pairs are just given, some are pairs i consider as investment, which i bought myself. but they are not as expensive as what the celebs are showcasing...their bags are just too ridiculously priced. i am not a celeb anyway...hehehe

i dont accumulate/store them. when i have outgrown one particular pair i give them away, while some others could still use it. i have about ten pairs to use daily, alternately for two weeks...

when i'm out of the country, that's when i buy lots of shoes, hoochie shoes. it's comforting to know that there's a lesser chance for me to bump into a twin. hehehe. to avoid the so called fashion faux pas i try to match the colors ever mindful of the price. i always go for quality. something that should outlive me...hehehe

foremost of my addictions are bath gels, and bath essentials from body shop, cheapest compared to philosophy, lush and the like. pag burn out na ako, ginagamit ko about three sets in one bath. i do invest in good jeans and shoes and some essential gadgets--prices are reasonably affordable.

I think I saw on a documentary that women bring bags for a long time, as long from stone age times.
