Yes I know, but my friend is well off. Ang nakakagulat kasi, I saw him until his late 30s and he still had thick hair, hindi naman nag recede hairline niya. Now he looks like Mr Burns. Baka nga hindi sanay mag work kasi dito sa Pilipinas, walang ginagawa yun. I've been to one of their commercial properties, that building alone is worth a lot of money and ex SO told me they have a lot of properties pa. My friend and ex SO are neighbors and their families have done business together. Ex SO is wondering nga "bakit nagpapakahirap sa US". I asked him the same and he said he wants to be successful on his own (may gusto siguro patunayan sa pamilya)
Pero grabe tuyot na tuyot siya, I showed his pic to our friends, it was a group photo and NOBODY recognized him. It took a while pa.
Yup. I know there's a running joke for men to look at the mothers or their prospects/gfs, it also applies for women LOL.
Si crush, ang laki ng ginastos sa hair niya! LOL! When he noticed it thinning, inagapan na niya, Sa office napagusapan na namin na yung upper management namin ang tatangkad at matitikas at may hitsura.

June 18th, 2023 05:28 AM #64Just because he is well-off, doesn't mean he's not stressed and pressured. You said it yourself, he wants to prove something. Thats reason enough. Sometimes even just stressing over thinning hair can further aggravate it. Lahat naman tayo tumatanda, stressing over your looks is just vapid.

June 18th, 2023 09:27 AM #65"being rich versus being poor."
one just replaces one set of problems with another. but the stress levels are similar.
i have a theory. the genes coding for baldness, are somehow related to how we relate to stress or our personalities.
i have another theory.
baldness affects all strata of society, equally.
but they are perceptively more visible among the rich, because they're more visible because they're rich.

there are guys who start losing hair in their 30s
nasa lahi yan
may kilala ako happy-go-lucky guy whose hair started thinning at a young age (nasaan ung stress?)
his parents had him treated at svenson
he said it wasn't his idea it's his mom's
coz his mom was worried baka di siya makahanap ng asawa pag kalbo siya
anyway he's happily married na
moms know best
