Ive embraced my baldness. Skinhead look hehe. Doesnt bother me at all anymore. You get used to it after awhile.

Do i sometimes wish i had hair? Of course i do. Id be lying if i didnt. But the magnitude of that wish has shrunk over the years and i probably only think about it once a year or so.....

surely family genes play most of the way to being bald. kasi dapat sana lahat ng mga rich and famous ay hindi na sila panot!
had tried so many hair growing/stopping products minoxidll, aloe vera, etc but i guess these should be used with balanced diet, regular exercise and good stress management.
meron nag-offer sa akin noon ng hair transplant at 1k per strand.
sabi ko na lang too pricey for me hehehe.

Uminom lang kayo ng marami tubig parati, yes think of your hair as plants it need watering

Ang wag masyado mag compute as math, and think two steps ahead coz racing lagi utak nyo

Malakas talaga magpakalbo yan mga ganyan , kasi di ba nag compute kayo hinahawi nyo lagi pataas ang buhok nyo to the back. Hinde natural yun, kung hahawiin nyo hair nyo dapat from back to forehead

Saka lagi nyo pag lipatin ang hati ng buhok nyo, dont stick sa left or right lang all your life

Ano pa ba, and yes your hair must be flooded with sweat generated from your scalp at least once a week, if you are exercising pero hindi nababass ng pawis ang hair nyo, walang kwenta exercise yun

There was a time when pawis natin ang paligo na tin, like when the ancient men were moving and running from different locations or chasing deers or cows

im just a messenger dok explaning kung bakti ginagawa ng tao yan.

    well, in your case,
    the messenger got shot.
and will probably continue getting shot,
if he does not re-phrase his posts on the subject.

Oh my! I suddenly miss OB, I literally LOLd on this.

Is anyone following the case of Gabby Petito and Brian Laundrie. Brian is bald at 23! I saw his HS pics and he was already balding in HIGH SCHOOL! WTF! That is so tragic! I wonder if he never experienced thick hair, because I can't imagine how a guy starts to bald in HS?!?!

A new theory on hair loss - why Hair is never truly dead and bald men can regrow their hair back naturally
Thread starterJamesGatz Start dateFeb 18, 2022

    Now as for people:

DHT is blamed, "genetics" is blamed

How is this DHT theory taken seriously ? A hormone so vital to the survival of males in every mammalian species makes them look unhealthy ?

And then what about homeless men ? They defy all hair loss industry logic

They tend to have higher DHT than your average civilian men by definition due to the mere fact they don't wash their skin and the average man disturbs this vital androgenic organ on a regular basis - the homeless men don't follow any hair protocol ever recommended by hair restoration clinics yet they tend to have some of the thickest hair I've ever seen:

And Native American Men ? Also really good hair and they ate a lot of red meat and drank a lot of milk, they sat by the fireplace and lived in the wild - by all standards their way of living should've made their DHT quiet high yet the males had really good hair

How does the hair loss industry explain this ?

And Genetics? - Are these same genetics that make a man immune to hair loss make them homeless as well ? Seems very coincidental that the vast majority of homeless men have good "hair genetics

    meron counter arguments

I live in an urban area and there’s plenty of bald homeless men. Homeless men are not immune from hair loss. I cringe hard every time someone makes this argument

just write balding long haired man on google.
You are extremely biased in your bizarre speculations

    apoLLo said
Those are urbanized modern homeless people living in shelters and getting lots of modern foods and warm clothes drink coffee.

I guess old school homeless people drink lots of alcohol ( improves ratio igf-1/igfbp-3 same as finasteride does ), consume very little dairy (so no extra igf-1) and they don't wear much clothes/hats and sleep in the streets exposed to cold therefore they have increased brown fat = high mitochondrial counts/activity. Decreased brown fat in scalp correlates with hair loss.
Any kind of massaging or warming head with hats can reduce fat in scalp ... no good. The less you touch your scalp the better for hair .

Old school rockstars also drank tons of alcohol
    Summer said
I subscribe to the scalp tension theory of hair loss, which would explain why native Americans who lived a traditional lifestyle had such great hair. That goes for many tribal populations around the world. Things as seemingly simple as the way we sit and walk are very important. Their posture was likely flawless
    jamesgatz said
But I never said long haired men were completely immune to hair loss - I said 9/10 times when you see a man with long hair they aren't going bald and have little to none.

There's an exception to every rule but the exception is not the rule

Me speculating ? The entire hair loss industry is speculation! None of them can answer why humans are the only species where males experience rampant hair loss and not females and none of them can explain the groups of men that are immune to hair loss

I just saw a recent photo of an old friend and I did NOT recognize him at all.

He just turned 50 and yet I was shocked at how much he aged. I did not expect him to lose his hair and he looks like Mr Burns (from the Simpsons). He migrated to the US more than a decade ago and he still had thick hair in his late 30s at matikas siya. There was absolutely no indication na makakalbo siya, because I know guys in their 30s nagre recede na. He wasn't like that at all. Now I understand why he said he is hiya to see me when I went to the US. It was probably because he lost his hair!

He would look so much better if he just shaved it off than have it Mr Burns style. Aside from his hair, he lost a LOT of muscle mass kaya Mr Burns.

Some people age faster due to stress, just look at those living in poverty, some of them are still young but look like senior citizens.
