I am sure this movie by Mel Gibson will be released here in the Philippines. Mixed reviews siya pero I will definitely watch this film to see if this film is anti-semitic daw. Sabi nga ng mga nakapanood you will definitely be moved by this movie after seeing this movie bout Jesus' last hours.

anti-semitic daw, eh totoo naman na Jews ang pumatay sa kanya. Pero, it 'could' trigger an anti-semitism pero the movie is not an anti-semi. Jews have seen it too and their only concern is the 'it could trigger an anti-semi' but the movie is not anti-semi.

Heard about the old lady who died of the heart attack on the premier night?

Also, why are critics condemning Mel's movie without even seeing the entirety of the film? The critics never picked on the movie "Kill bill" or "Natural Born Killers," why now? and why Mel's movie?

A must see movie, indeed. No matter what the critics say, its a blockbuster movie for the first 24 hours!!!

anti semitic daw kasi nabuksan ang issue, teka ang tagal na issue na ito ah, na jews are responsible for the death of jesus, baka kasi discrminate daw sila today,

paranf yung isang na interview na she;s raising 2 jewish girls daw. medyo masama daw ang impact,

i'd say read the bible AGAIN to be close to what really happen, and to reflect,

it's not anti-semitic. what is being portrayed in the film is that jews as humans put to cross the son of god. it's humanity as a whole that is responsible for christ's death. i can't blame the jews for being scared after watching this film, but it's not only them who left feeling guilty after watching this film. all other christians who watched felt guilty as well. while there may be narrow-minded individuals out there who may start anti-semitic activities, i juts hope that people who'll watch this film approach it with an open and broader mind.

People who really hate jews do something more explicit than produce a film about Christ. If someone wants to propagate anti-semitism, then all he needs to do is mouth off the same lines or propaganda used by the Nazis during WWII.

They're reading too much into the production of this film. Tuloy, it made people all the more curious to see it.

di ako makapanilwala na si hitler kaya nagpapatay ng jews eh dahil pinatay daw nila si cristo bat ganun tama ba yun eh turo kasi sa skul pinapatay nya jews dahil sila raw ang superior na race. or was that interpretation done deliberately by historians so that it would not cause anymore anti jew sentiments. affected lang cguro mga jews ang lakas siguro ng tama ng film sa kanila naguiguilty sila. natakot sila sa sarili nilang multo!
