Yup, I have heard of it a few months ago. Interesting to research into. 9-11 attack became useful to measure the effects of humans on "global dimming" phenomenon during the days where nearly all airplanes were grounded for safety (anti-terrorism) reasons. The data collected was compared to ordinary days with the plane flying. The data was a bit shocking on how much humans can affect the planet.
