The diagram oj88 posted would be the usual setup for generator with solar system ... but have seen some solar inverters have input for generators ...

Yan ang typical setup ng mga non-battery solar system.

Sa mga meron solar sa bahay, ano ba actual efficiency ng solar panel. 20% lang ba talaga?

Yan ang sabi, but I don't think measurable ng end user yan? Yung indicated capacity ng panels is already the actual capacity na e

yung rating ng panel is from artificial "lab" conditions at 25 degrees c. which you'll never achieve in the real world

w/ my old polycrystalline panels i could get at most 75% of the rating on the sticker. monocrystalline should be slightly higher. then there are bifacial that are even higher still if you could somehow reflect light into the back of the panel

13kw ang nakainstall na panels sa akin. bifacial sya. I am able to harvest max of 12kw during the first few months after install. Now 11kw nalang peak. Baka need to clean the panels na.

It could be the hotter weather derating the modules (even more than when it was first installed since the modules power rating is obtained at 25C and 1000W/m2)
