Did you use inorganic fertilizer? Happened to me many times in the past, just when I thought the plant was sturdy enough to be fertilized, boom, sunog sa fertilizer, and I only put a few granules on top and let the daily watering slowly wash the granules. Now I'm using soil mixed with potting soil. Next I will try osmocote, I'm just waiting for my plants to gain ground.
