Yup, same family as tilapia. But we never cooked one haha
Uhm, around 6 inches i think. More than a year narin.
wow it's huge na pala. Kaya lang hindi lumaki yung kok? So swertihan talaga? I want big kok![]()
You can buy food naman if you want to make it big. Yung XO. Someone posted it here, cant remember who.
OT : Akala ko kung ano yung "kok"
I researched it pa haha. You were referring pala sa bulge on the head
I read it as "cock"
Sorry! :sorry:
I dont have any idea mam e.
Si dad nagpapakain and maintain e.
There are a lot who sell flowerhorns in cartimar. Might was well check it baka may matipuhan ka dun mam![]()
(mine) spectacled caiman. more related to gators than crocs. year acquired 1995 at 11.5 inches. given to a friend 2002 at 5feet(+/-). they say up to now it hasn't grown a bit.
exotic pets should be registered at the DENR to avoid being confiscated (mine wasn't).
my mom cried when i took it home, she cried again when i rid of it (and several of my other pets). kakatawa mga nanay. i moved out na kasi and my new job requires travel.
they're much docile than crocs. i pet/pat it, but hug NO! may several ocassions na nag snap yan. my dogs move/walk around it, pero buti alisto sila pag biglang kakagat. si ermats may pamalo, pag hinampas niya yung sahig, babalik sa pond, hehe.
busog lang siguro but never tame.
50 gallons is good enough.
Fishes are generally cheap to maintain. If you invest money in the right items at the beggining, later it will be a pleasure to have them. By the term right items I mean natural decorations, to create for them an as much natural environment as posible. I use marine plants, wood, coralls, live rocks (most of them I buy online, from https://www.arcreef.com). And the natural environment is not only for them, it is for us too. It looks way better than the plastic ones. And I, personally, feel better when I know that my pets live a good life.
