    i saw the hostage situation this afternoon, the hostage taker wanted to be heard with all his err, but would people listen or judge him for his ilicit act.

    like a plot of a movie, it will be tomorrows headline as it reaches its climax, still be the day after tomorrow now going on a plateau, yet 5 days from now youll just see their stories with small fonts not even on the front page, youll just speculate what the ending has been, for media hype is over...

    the police did not secure the area... ang daming uzis...
    dapat malayo ang media...plus nung pinalaya yung mga bata nagsikip na mismo sa may bus... eh kung biglang sumabog ang granada.... potek...

    Yup... protocols were not followed, no crowd control, blah blah blah....
    Nasa CNN and other international news stations.

    Bottom line... it ended PEACEfuly and nobody got hurt. (remember Russia September 2004) Pinoy does it again.

    Just my optimistic point of view.

    una pa lang sinabi nya di nya kaya saktan mga bata, mahal na mahal daw nya mga ito. yun commander ng SWAT dapat pinasok na yan eh

    pero syempre sabi ng mga pulitiko, wait ... sayang ang media opportunity.

    taking innocent children as hostages for a good cause? does the end justify the means? for sure ducat's action is intended to draw attention locally but has now drawn worlwide attention. a disgrace to our country! hostaging children cannot be justified as legitimate means of airing his grievances... i know maganda ung mga hinihingi nya para sa mga bata, but still his action is legally and morally wrong!

    i've heard him apoligizing to the parents... but this man is not completely remorseful, in fact he said "kung kailangan ulitin... para sa bayan" ..... and parents are not going to file any charges against him? what if kung may masamang nangyari sa mga anak nila? will they do the same? i'll never condone this kind of foolishness. not in a million years!
