Filipino Monkey?

I am deeply offended by such moniker....

I remember many years ago, when I was visiting our HQ in CA, I overheard a VP (caucasian) of the company talking out loud "What are those monkeys in the *name of our company in the Phil* trying to do?"

I immediately stood up out of a meeting and went out of the cubicle looking for that person and was ready to intercept him. An Asian-American held me and told me that I let it go. But in that situation, any Filipino will be deeply offended

well....based on that story alone...no one can be blamed for the term 'Filipino monkey' but the Filipino monkeys themselves. it's too late...since 80's pa pala nila ginagawa yan.
