Was in Bataan yesterday and I really appreciated the memorial shrine honoring the Battle and Fall of Bataan.

It's not enough to remember though, there should always be action connected to it - hopefully it inspires nationalism and a desire to bring back the glory of this nation, in whatever small way an individual can contribute.

It's very sad that a lot are forgetting the horrors of war. I also take people to Mt. Samat just to do my part in helping people remember the horrors our forefathers went through just to give us the **** we enjoy today.

By accident i also discovered the San Fernando train station where the Bataan Death March ended and people were herded onto train cars for Tarlac. Driving from Bataan to Pampanga on a regular afternoon is already hell... imagine walking it with no water and bayonets close behind your ass.
