May binebenta bang polarized clip ons sa optical shops? I see some sold online but it would be better if the lenses could be cut to fit my current glasses.

I drive to work at noontime. Lightly tinted ang windshield but I get bothered by reflection ng dashboard.

I use a frame with photochromic lenses on when driving or outdoors. These lenses aren't as expensive anymore and I would recommend it for driving.

mas sikat sya sa name na Transition lenses dati, brand pala yung transition parang pag toothpaste eh colgate tawag hehe.

pero pansin ko sa akin eh pag naka full tint windshield eh hindi halos nag d-dark kasi walang nag pe-penetrate the UV light sa windshield.

Yan din pagkakaalam ko sa photochromic lenses. Activated by UV at dahil blocked na ang UV sa windshield, hindi na yan magpapalit ng kulay. CMIIW.

Wag na lang kaya mag-salamin ang mga malalabo ang mata? Let natural selection take its course. For sure, we'd all die off due to accidents. Pag nawala na sa gene pool ang mga myopic, we would have eradicated myopia.

kailangan pa din magsalamin pero not exact grade at iba pag lalabas bahay at magbabasa.

And naintriga ako doon sa advice na tumingin lagi sa malayo and sunlight yung maexpose but not magpasilaw magpaluha. Kaya pala mga fisherman malilinaw eyes kasi field of vision nila endless ang lawak lagi nakikita.

check nyo endmyopia may sarili website at facebook yan and talaga nagiimprove mababasa mo.

Maghahanap ako ng kukulitin ko na optometrist. Yung student or kakagraduate pa lang para malawak pagiisip.

Just bought a new pair for 4.7k, 4k for the lens and 700 for the frame. Frame should have been 2.5k but the lens was to thin to be fitted on it, nakatipid pa tuloy pag pili ng iba

Does anyone have eyeglasses specific for computer use? And I don't mean those "blue filter" BS... but rather actual prescription glasses that corrects vision and is good up to an arm's length or so distance. Like reading glasses but calibrated for maybe around twice the distance from your eyes.

when i have my eyes refracted, i specifically ask the optometrist to set me up for computer use.
the printed material that i read is not the usual newspaper-close to my eyes, but much farther, as how far the usual tabletop computer monitor is.
it's easy to do for the optometrist, naman. and cost is the same as the usual lenses.
some optometrists even ask, "pang-diaryo ba, o pang-computer?"

in the doble-vistas i have, i even ask the optometrist to increase the area of the reading lens. tinataas niya yung location, so's i can more easily do computer work.

kung pareho ang grado ng left and right eyes ninyo, you can purchase the cheap ready-made reading lenses in the convenience stores.
sukatin ninyo kung anong grade ang bagay for computer work.
it's as easy as trying on one grado after another, until one gets comfortable reading that monitor.
or, you can ask the optometrist to determine your eyes' reading grado, and that is what you get from the convenience store.
my colleague always misplaces her reading glasses. so she went to divisoria and purchased a dozen of those cheap gafas. if she misplaces one, she simply pulls out a replacement from her bag.

I do have progressive lenses but I also have at least 2 or 3 large monitors in front of me. I often have to remove my glasses because the constant head movement with the progressive is seriously taxing. In fact, it feels so much better without them when using the computer... even though I had to use the zoom function to read smaller texts occasionally. But at least I can move my eyeballs freely without distortion in my peripheral vision.

So I believe I will have to get fixed-grade eyeglasses for computer use only. Maybe those buy 1, take 1 is the ticket.

Have them ... zero grade ... just to correct slight astigmatism ... works well ... less eye fatigue and dizziness (after hours of using computer) ...

Positive Update:
I started EndMyopia in February 2021, so its been 1 year and 3 months. My November 2020 optometrist visit measured my prescription at -3.25 Left / -2.25 Right. My first centimeter measurements were 40cm (-2.50) Left / 58cm (-1.75) Right, so I believe I was way overcorrected. For the most part, I have been pretty diligent in following EndMyopia; however, like most people, I have had my slip ups, periods of back to old habits of staring at my phone for too long, and also having to contend with a 8-5 computer job and life getting busy. Although even when I fell backwards, and even with the hurdles, I pushed myself to not give up and get back on track and incorporate good habits whenever and wherever I could.
I am now measuring 60cm Left / 100cm Right and wearing normalized lenses at -1.75 Left / -.75 Right and I am absolutely thrilled and amazed at my progress and that I can see very well with these. I am soon to order another pair of normalized to equalize and will lower my left eye only by another -.25. I am waiting for another month before I get optometrist confirmation just to get some good use of the summer sun and to solidify my progress. Just wanted to share that this works and don't give up.

I will be back in a month to post my optometrist confirmed prescription improvement.

Doesn't progressive do that for you? I think that can be done pero hassle if you have to look far or near and it's woozy.

BS lang ba ang blue filter? Kasi I had it as an add on kasi plus 500 lang naman.

Just got my new glasses today, really happy with the improved vision because of correct grade and no transition.
