There is no one who can help us but ourselves.

We don't even need to know who committed this act. I believe it is high time that we become a much more intolerant society as the reality of our situation demands it.

I do not advocate any sort of discrimination. Merely for peaceful people like us to be more wary and committed to action, kahit mag-mukha tayong tanga.

For example, several times, I've seen people deliberately ignore suspicious looking bags left in public areas. Not once did anyone but myself act. Ang dami nakapansin who just walked away. Palagi ako nalang nakakakuha ng masamang tingin from security kasi I demand that they investigate these bags, which fortunately were mostly just trash, and once, an actual lost & found.

I believe that the simple act of being more alert to suspicious items and people would eliminate this threat. Alam mo na, parang daga mga yan e, pag nakaamoy na nagbabantay ang tao, di magpapakita.
yes i believe yan nga yun area ng baby clothes. but I dont believe they're attacking the children.

way way back in the bomb scare days of 2k1, 2k2, I lined up in Megamall entrance ... sobrang haba ang linya bec. of bomb checks and detection. and so naisip ko, if the purpose of bombers is to bomb a lot of people. sa entrance pa lang makakarami na siya and there's no security pa.

and this is what happened today. even if sobrang secure and well versed na ang mga sikyu, police, bomb sniffing dogs natin sa entrance. they can still trigger it outside, oklahoma style.

and this is the scariest part, this is random. no planning, no planting. you can be hit anywhere lalo na kung malapit ka sa entrance.
