End of the World

There was an interesting episode on Discovery Channel shown just this morning. The title is : Apocalypse 2012.

It covered all the issues related to this doomsday prediction. It was a well-documented show that sought to show scientific proof about what could possibly happen on Dec 21, 2012. Scientists predicted about the peak activity of the sun at a later part of 2012 which could cause solar superflares that could disrupt earth's electricity and telecoms, similar to what had happened in 2003.

But this time, the earth's magnetosphere is not strong enough to block all the radiation from the sun. The show also explored the possibility that this sun (or the electrical activity that it causes) activity can trigger very large earthquakes, intense volcanic activities (i.e. yellowstone), or tsunamis.

Their conclusion: There's still no definite proof that the world will end on this date. The odds of the world ending tomorrow is the same as on the other coming days or come Dec 21, 2012. So the debate goes on.

hahaha. people are too paranoid about this crap. im wondering on how will the world react on the coming twentieth of december year 2012. siguro panic na yan, people will rush sa church and pray the whole day. probably, people will be better men. ewan. haha.

dont they know that this world can possibly end just as soon as i press the post quick reply here ? hindi naman natin alam eh. they're all predictions. malay ba nila, 5 minutes from now, tapos na lahat ng tao sa mundo. i mean, what the heck. treat every single second like its gonna be your last one. make the most out of it. who knows kasi. who are we to tell. there are odds that could possibly change the said prediction. odds that could possibly make the end of the world closer or farther from now.

the average regular interval is about 27 million years...

so... we'll have to wait for more or less another 22 millions years before that happens

ok lang mag end of the world. lahat naman tayo patay. bad trip pag ikaw lang namatay. o kaya ikaw lang nabuhay.

if the end of the world looks like anything how they portray it on movies, ill get a popcorn and try to enjoy every moment of it. its as realistic as it can get! no use to cry and sulk. as if you can outrun a giant wave. or hot ashes. or the earth opening up.

most important is you make peace with yourself and say that you love your family before it all ends.

EDIT: alam ko stand ng INC dito. they'll say "kami lang ang maliligtas". at least 3 INC members, not related to each other and doesnt know each other, have told me na silang mga INC members lang ang maliligtas pagdating ng judgement day. and im like, yeah right who made you special??!!
