We call this the Information Age for a very good reason.
maybe the term dumb is dumb in this discussion. i did not say having information at the tip of your fingers is bad; my point was retention of information. lots of people today don't really store information in their head anymore besides what they need daily for immediate circle of interest (job, self, friends, family). people throw away most information they find online as soon as they have satisfied the immediate need. information has become disposable in the information age.
