i saw someone yesterday, coat and tie, new crv...he looks very formal and all...and he has a personal driver...

i know that all tsikoteers here came from all walks of life...i'm just wonderin'...do you have a personal driver or do you "drive" your car?

...or!...if you can afford a personal driver, would you consider having one?

Since way back when I started to drive, I never relied on a driver...have been driving myself around...the only problem I see when you drive alone is when you're in a hurry but can't find a nice parking space...other than that I never considered hiring myself a personal driver...plus drivers have different driving styles...and I wouldn't want my ride to break down prematurely.

I'm no coat and tie guy but we also have a driver.

For our needs like fetching my kid and wife our driver comes in real handy even though he is now a bit old. He also doubles to help me in maintaining our cars. I feel lucky that he was a former 'old school' mechanic so I also learn a lot from him.

Depends. Drivers ok din para sakin on long trips or when parking is an issue and of course when I don't know the route myself. But to go to and from work, I rather drive myself...

    No.

    and

No unless I'm 90 years old and can't drive anymore or maybe if I was a VIP whose driver also doubles as a bodyguard. You know, the one who'll take the bullet for me.

I think the very concept of drivers and maids are some of the things that keep the Pinoy have and have nots divided.

Depends on where we're going and the time. Since malayo pa ang province namin, if we're going to attend a wedding or whatever in Metro Manila during the night, I'll most probably get a driver.

I love driving. So most of the times, I drive. Sometime, I have driver(s) - the jeepney, bus, fx or mrt driver.

Cyempre mga driving nuts tau so gusto natin we drive all the time. Kaso me mga cases sa iba satin na sa dami ginagawa mas preferable na me driver.

Sakin, me naiiwan isa kotse sa bahay. Misis ko hirap2x maghanap ng katulong. Sabi ko sa kanya eh kung boy na marunong mag drive na lang kunin nya.

Me and wife drive to work usually, but when our most trusted and reliable houseboy matured and learned how to drive...ayaw na namin mag drive nothing beats a driver anytime anyplace...the convenience of being dropped off sa entrance ng malls or office, tapos pag lalabas ka na text mo lang para abangan ka sa exit,priceless..Pag gabi naman kahit magpakalasing ako ng todo ok lang Just pay them well and konting abot abot pag ginabi ng trabaho, thatll make them happy

I personally drive myself, but when I have an opportunity to use the family driver... why not? Time is money, and the time I spend driving, I could be doing something else, typing, reading or sleeping (so that I don't feel like a dog that's been worked half-to-death by the time I get to my meetings, one or two hours after I leave the house.)

But on non-work trips? Driving is half the fun.

    Ang pagbalik ng comeback...

we have a family driver to pick up the kids and the wife. i only use the driver when im running late, to save some time in searching for a parking space and if he's only dropping me off. but i always drive for family trips. he's been with us for a long time, siya pa ang driver ni wifey nung dalaga pa. we kept him eventually kasi ang tagal na niya sa family eh.
