December 13th, 2007 05:54 AM #12actually hindi lng yng space shuttle. other rides had several breakdowns na din na hindi lng nababalita. if you make a close inspection, makikita mo na hindi periodical and maintenance nila. yng pintura na lng e, may kalawang na yng ibang rides hindi man lng pinturahan...tpos prang bibigyan lng nila ng attentions pg nasira na... sna mas bigyan nila ng importansya yng buhay ng mga sumasakay...

Dapat talaga, regular ang Preventive Maintenance ng mga rides natin,- kasi exposed sila sa mga elements, kaya madaling mag-corrode et al..... Huwag sanang "if it ain't broke,- don't fix it"... Kawawa naman ang mga nagbabayad at sumasakay sa mga rides..,- delikado....

Kita ko yan kagabi sa 24 oras, mabuti stalled lang but not like what happened to wild river last sept in star city na me nahulog at namatay We were at EK last summer and everytime they took a ride I simply say “go ahead I’ll just stay here to take photos.” Haha eh di lusot ako, takut ata ako dyan :blue:

December 14th, 2007 06:37 AM #19baka naman mga surplus yang mga rides na yan? sa World Disney sa Orlando,mga rides nila super alaga sa maintenance kasi nga malaking kompanya ang Walt Disney at may mga cruise ships pa sila cruising around the world.Not like sa Enchanted Kingdom medyo mga dilapedated na yata...pangalan pa lang lumang-luma na talaga...

December 14th, 2007 01:41 PM #20I think safety feature yung pagtigil automatically ng ride pag may nadetect na irregularity.
for me i think the ride did its job.
I wouldn't mind riding it again and again.
Though hindi mo maaalis na may matatakot at magpapanic sa ganoong situation
Now if politician wants to think for our safety, they should start on our public transportation.
