meron din isang incident dati concerning another ABS-CBN reporter. si levy or ledi tantoco. the NTC Region 3 is having an operation at the NLEX on non-licensed radios. e napara yung car ni tantoco, tapos wala syang mapakitang radio license, although ginagamit nya yun for his reporting. ayun, binaliktad ni tantoco ang story. pinalabas pa nya na peke lang yung mga NTC operatives, kesyo wala daw silang uniform at nakabaliktad pa yung ID nila.

That's the sad state of Philippine broadcast journalism for you. Just look and listen to the likes of Erwin Tulfo, Mike Enriquez, Karen Davila, etc. Instead of presenting the news in an objective and factual manner, meron nang kasamang editorial at, kumg minsan, paninira pa.

Eh, ang alam ko, as a journalist, you should just present the news as it is. People don't give a damn about the news reporter's opinion unless it is expressly solicited anyway.

obserbahan nyo rin yung si ali sotto (abc 5 yata yon). news reader lang dapat pero laging may sarcastic comments.

Tama ang sinabi ni Redhorse, during the time na uso pa ang chokepoint, yung friend ko nalagyan ng shabu sa car and dinala sa precinct. pag dating doon sympre sabi ng mga police lagay na lang siya para tapos ang kaso, then pati ang isang taga media sa t.v. humingi din para daw hindi na lumabas sa evening news kinabukasan ang nangyari at pangalan nya.

the dj of most morning radio shows always do sidecomments after the news has been read out. some of them really show the IQ level of these jocks... pathetic...

sa mga broadsheet naman, yang mga columnista, titirahin ang isang issue, then wala pang isang buwan, lalabas ang isang note ng editor: di nyo mababasa ang col ni kuwan, kasi isang buwan syang nasa europa..

basa: mahina yata ang 500,000 + bold starlet pa na kasama

yong kay Tulfo na lang ng inquirer, bakit marines ang bodyguard nito, wala naman syang governmnet elected/appointed position, technically dapat wala, kaso alam natin kung sino titinira nya sa mga col nya at kung ano ang kulay ng inquirer
