Does school really matter?

UP and UST grads made up 90% of the staff in my first job. The other two universities don’t have the course.

School matters more for fresh grads.

Sakin yung GS and HS ang maidentify mo sa school, kasi as my parents say, it's when values formation happens.

Curious ako, may mahirap ba sa Pisay? Kasi it's a good school na hindi mahal tuition, pero mga kilala ko na Pisay upper middle class at the minimum.

Not only is it cheap, its free. A Pisay student also gets a stipend and an option to stay in an on-campus dormitory.

Marami underprivileged pero gifted students sa Pisay. Libre yung tuition during my days in Pisay. Kahit ako, Di naman kayamanan and Pisay was a blessing as my parents didn’t have to spend a penny for my tuition in high school.

If you graduate from Pisay, you can easily go to any of the top universities. Some even make it to universities in the US. Some of my friends took their undergrad studies here and went on to finish their PhDs in Georgetown, UConn, etc.

totoo bhoybs. DaLawa kami ng best friend ko waLa entrance exam. NagaLit teacher sa amin ano daw magiging future.

Ito tingnan mo = nung gumigimik kami kasama ko updiLiman, ateniness, csb, mapua and me recto. Kahit ano gawin engLish barkada ko taga updiL eh sa akin bagsak ng chicks.

kags I almost went out with a guy na sports science ang course, nung una turn off ako sa course kasi parang hindi seryoso, pero sabi ni UF that's a very good course, maganda ang future earning potential

That's good to know na meron pa rin underprivileged. There's prestige kasi getting in Pisay kaya impression ko puro well off na din there.
