Alam mo ba Sir oldblue, I used to have the same car as yours, yang CRV mo! nagsisi nga ako at binenta ko. All time 4WD pa naman yan diba at saka malakas talaga ang makina di tulad nung mga sumunod na CRV. Yung nakabili nga ng CRV ko na yan eh binenta ulit at kumita pa sya!
We dispose our cars mainly due to age. Like my VW New Beetle that I bought nung year 2000 na am having a hard time getting the parts at sobrang mamahal! Sa airconditioning parts pa lang minsan merong inabot na 60K isang fan! Grabe! Ayaw ko sana idispose kase may sentimental value na sa akin yung car kaya lang napaka high maintenance car na sya....

i am disposing it because the annual costs involved in having the ride fixed and maintained so that it is in excellent running condition is greater than the cost of the car itself.

First time owner ako. So di ko pa alam kung ano ang gagawain ko down the line.
Pero kung masyado ng magastos ang maintenance, malamang i-dispose na lang.
sa 100K or 3 years na warranty, malamang mauuna pa ang 100K.

Ako mga 5 years or 80T Kms. whichever comes first, kasi
by that time (or mileage), kailangan nang palitan yung mga
timing belt at ilan pang major components - so its better
to sell na.
Minsan naman napapa-aga kung may makursunadahang
bagong labas. Sometime meron kang kamag-anak o kaibigan
na maga-abroad and they're selling their car at a low price
at since kilala mo, alam mo na well-maintained, etc. Ika nga,
its hard to pass up a good bargain, hehehe

October 19th, 2007 02:25 AM #19wala akong ka plano planong palitan car namin pero tagal ng inaawitan ng relative benta daw namin sa kanya. this year nagustuhan namin yung bagong model ng car, so benta na yung car sa relative namin. panalo na siya nun low mileage at well maintained. happy naman kami ni misis sa naging desisyon namin, now we are enjoying our new car.
so yung pagpalit ng car depende siguro kung maproblema na no point of keeping it.

My three cars:
2001 Mitsubishi Eclipse GS with 52,xxx miles. Bought it brand new. The only reason I'm thinking about getting rid of it is to use it as a trade in for another car. Most likely a sedan (Nissan Maxima, Toyota Camry, or Honda Accord)
1991 Honda Civic Sedan DX with 92,xxx miles. I have no plans to get rid of this car. I use it everyday for work. I call it my "no worries" car. I can drive it and park it anywhere and not worry about someone scratching or denting it. It's my tank car
1989 BMW 325i (2 dr / convertable) with 201,xxx miles. This is my wife's car. We have no plans of getting rid of this one either. It runs better than the Civic
One main reason that I don't really have any plans to get rid of any of our cars is "car payments". All my cars are paid off. It's nice not having any car payments
Buhay na buhay ang BGC this evening. Bukas halos lahat ng restaurants. Sabi pa nung isang cashier...
