this may sound harsh but i'm happy no one else was harmed because of their stupidity. it's sad when stupid 17-year olds die (not judging - i was a stupid 17 year old once) but it's a tragedy when innocents die because of them.

The kid is probably a spoiled-brat.

There are reasons why 17-year olds are not allowed to drive and this is one of them. We, adults, know how big the responsibility when driving. I speak for myself, but 17-year-olds are still kids. Of course there are exceptions but generally they still are not old-enough for such a big responsibility. I started driving really young even before I was even allowed to get a student's license coz I really loved the feeling to be on that seat. The thing was, I was really responsible. I never drove by myself not until I got my non-professional driver's license.

But poor kids. Sinayang lang nila ang buhay nila for a cheap thrill! Dapat kasi if mahilig sa drag racing ang mga anak, ipa-enroll na lang sa race driving school para doon na sa race track i-release ang kanilang mga energy rather than something like this happens.

I'd hate to be the heartless SOB that I am, pero buti na lang etong mga bugok na ito namatay at di nakadamay ng inosenteng bystander or motorist.

They took risks and suffered the consequence.

Bakit sila nakakaawa and bakit kayo nalulungkot?

Look at it this way. One less car to deal with in traffic, Two less hormonally challenged brats to worry about and hey, before any of you guys think Im an *ss, consider this:

Kung kayo or asawa niyo or kapatid nyo or magulang nyo or GF/BF niyo nadamay niyan and natigok din, would you still feel the same?

    I say good riddance.

dito sa gen santos, a few months ago, a guy was making bantay sa isang relative nya na nasa hospital. since they needed medicine, the bantay went across the street to a drugstore. on his way back, nasagi sya ng batang nagdrag race. dead on the spot. bad trip. naunahan nya pa ang binabantayan nya.

Do it on the track, not on the street...People never learn.
