Depends on how you look at the maid's job. It is a noble job that one doesnt have to be feel degraded. It is only in our minds that we look down to this kind of a job. For me, any job is just as important and wearing my uniform is no big deal.

I had numerous maids throughout the years and I never ask them to wear a uniform. Since they live at my house, I treat them a part of the family. Of course, I set some ground rules so that we could all get together fine.

However, there are sometimes that I do want them to wear uniform when we go malling just because what they have are sometimes very skimpy clothes such as spaghetti/tube or open toe slippers but they have knocked-out feet. I usually buy them shoes or clothes but they still stick to their wardrobe. Oh well, that's what they want.

Ya i dont see what the big deal is. Baket degrading?

Sige ganito.... sa party, ipa-civilian mo ang yaya/maid, now she's a guest?

sa akin no need...they can weat what ever they want to wear...every xmas nga may damit sila regalo from us eh...

B) same logic for salesgirls in malls; parang di ata komportable mag inventory na naka skirt
