[QUOTE=boybi]if it is required of my job, gagawin ko. lalo na kung mahal ko ang aking trabaho.

I don't think ang mga yaya/maid at janitor ay mahal nila ang work nila, they dont have any choice kaya kailangan nila magtiis pero di ibig sabihin nun mahal nila work nla. ikaw ba sir papasok kang janitor at mamahalin mo yung work mo kung pwede k namang maging manager? My point is kailangan ba talagang mag uniform ang mga maid para disente at malinis sila silang tignan? pag naka casual ba sila at naka jeans hindi ba sila
    disenteng tignan?

    Peace
    opinion ko lang po

Ano meaning nito?

Di mo pa ba narinig yung kasabihang 'SEKSITARY'? So dapat hindi na rin sila mag-uniform... E yung pulis kaya?

Di naman love of work ang basehan to wear a uniform... I think boybi meant na if he was willing to stay on working with that uniform. Kung hindi e di pede naman umalis.

Sure, suotin ko pa yung uniform. Basta sweldo ko will continue my quality of life. Payag me. Wag sana ma-offend, am just pointing out what a s****d (or maybe I should say 'rhetorical') question this is.

    its just uniform guys.

    madaming nasasaktan eh.

Sabagay, ignorance is bliss. You'll never know what people are thinking until you read them in Tsikot Pitstop Cafe.

making helpers wear uniforms benefit them a lot. they dont have to buy clothes for them to wear everyday, and the clothes that they have wont wear out faster. Remember they work to help their families back home, so if they spend some of their salary on buying clothes pa sayang naman. also there are a lot of new designs of uniforms for helpers, others nga looks like those of teachers or office personnel.

Ive read some posts comparing secretary uniforms and maids uniforms.

Question: "What do you say to the people of the world who have typecasted filipinos as nannies?"

Answer: "I take no offence on being typecasted as a nanny. But I do take offence that the educated people of the world have somehow denegrated the true sense and meaning of what a nanny is. Let me tell you what she is. she is someone who gives more than she takes. She is someone you trust to look after the very people most precious to you - your child, the elderly, yourself. She is the one who has made a living out of caring and loving other people. So to those who have typecasted us as nannies, thank you. It is a testament to the loving and caring culture of the Filipino people. And for that, I am forever proud and grateful of my roots and culture."

I guess what I am trying to say is, all the negativity stems from the "style" of the uniform itself. There is nothing wrong with uniforms, but does the design have to be as blatant as what we are seeing now. When i say blatant, it seems na the maid's uniform is one big calling card telling everyone who can see that "I am a maid"

again..whats wrong with maids having a uniform? kahit pa ba may nakapaskil na "maid" dun..there is nothing to be ashamed of.

and there is NOTHING OTHER PEOPLE SHOULD THINK/ JUDGE of their amo's personality.

Do maids have to wear a uniform?
