Tanong lang sa mga taga-Customs o may kilala sa Customs...

1. How much tax nilalagay ng mga taga-Customs pag pinadalhan ka ng halimbawa, balikbayan box?
2. Per item ba ang taxation nila o per box?
3. Magkano ang pinapatong nila? Nung nakuha nyo ba ang mga item nyo, eh hinde naman sira o di kaya nabawasan?
4. May iba pa bang paraan para hindi dumaan sa Customs at diretso na lang sa bahay ninyo? Kaya ba gawin ng Fedex yun?

Kasi kinakabahan lang ako at baka may mawala sa box o di kaya patungan nila ng pagkalakilaki na tax at hindi ko makuha. Mga chocolates, rubber shoes, playstation unit, CDs, DVDs, etc. ang mga laman.

Siya nga pala, ang magpapadala ay taga-US, pinsan ko. Di kasi makauwi sa Pinas, walang oras at pera.

If the box was sent through Forex (not Fedex/UPS) or similar shipping companies - it will take approx 45 days to arrive. All shipments will go thru customs and in my experience, they dont charge tax. Dont worry, I sent my cousin some laptops (3 units), PDAs (about 7 or 8), PDA phone, PDA wireless keyboards, digital camera and other expensive electronics in one box - arrived there in one piece.

okay yung FOREX.. package sent from california to manila usually arrives within a month... wala bayad sa tax yun unless commercial quantity na yung padala sayo...

tip lang... yung most valuable and fragile item ay ilagay kamo sa gitna ng box at ibalot ng damit o towel...

di ba pag nagpapadala naman your not paying for the weight of the box right? yung isang box na mismo ang binabayaran mo, depende na sa iyo kung anu anu yung ipapadala mo.... kasi yung tita ko madalas magpadala eh... ok naman.. dumarating naman in one peice, wlang bawas. inaayos lang talaga nila ang pagkakalagay ng mga gamit...

Tanong ulit: saan niyo pinick-up? Sa airport ba yun o sa may post office? O diniliver straight sa bahay niyo? Balak kasi niya UPS or USPS, ok ba service nila?

Pag FOREX walang tax? Weird ah. Paano kung UPS or USPS? Or FedEx? May tax na kaya sila?

Tatawagan ko kasi pinsan ko anytime now. At least may isasagot na ako kahit papaano, recommended by tsikoteers.

You may have to pay taxes (and brokerage fees) if you send it through UPS/FEDEX/USPS......I definitely WONT recommend USPS as it may be passed to your Philippine Post Office which is notorious when it comes to packages.

Ask your relative to ship it through FOREX.

it was delivered to our house.. door-to-door naman yun..meron naman papipirmahan sayo kung satisfied ka, say buo yung box pagtanggap mo or damaged at usually ay kinukunan pa nila ng picture yung person na tatanggap ng box..

yung FOREX naman ay isa lang sa mga companies that cater to that kind of business..pwede naman kahit ano gusto nyo. nabanggit ko lang forex dahil dun pinadadala yung sa amin..

AFAIK, walang tax yung basta hindi commercial ang quantity.. Let's say magpadala sya ng playstation na 50pcs, magta-tax na kayo dun dahil mukhang pang-benta na yun... pero kung pang personal consumption lang ay wala ka babayaran...

bigyan mo na lang ng tip yung delivery boy para next time ay ikaw ang uunahin nila deliberan..

45 days ba talaga ang FOREX? Can they ship it faster? Like 3-5 days? Kung di kaya, how about other service? Does UPS or FedEx ships it 3-5 days?

On a side note: Umorder ako dati sa amazon ng DVD, lekat tinax ako ng mga hinayupak, nagbayad ako ng additional 800 pesos! Service tax daw. So umabot 2000 plus ang binayad ko kasama yung DVD. Nangyari to sa post office diyan sa my Remedios. Nainis ako kasi sinulat lang niya sa panget na papel ang computation. May mga subraction at division at kung ano-ano pa. Pinaikot ako.Halatang dugas talaga. After that gusto ko magsumbong kay Tulfo. Di lang yon, may kasabay ako na mga tsimay at may nagpadala sa kaniya ng box, binuksan ng lalaki sa harap niya at tiningnan lahat ng gamit. May barbie doll, pabango, damit at nag-compute ang gago at 1,500 pesos daw lahat! Hayop talaga. Lumabas yung tsimay kasama yung dalawang babae na kaibigan niya at nag-usap kung saan sila kukuha ng 1500 nung araw na yun. Kakaawa talaga. Umalis na lang ako.

Masunog sana sa impyerno yung lalaking yun!

DO SEND IT BY small door-to-door services. walang tax. ako nuon when i was in the US dami ko pinadala walang tax. pero minsan my mom requested for a very small item so na-send ko by USPS, ayun bayad na ko ng tax sa US nagbayad pa din ng tax sa Pinas.

ask ko lang, what is FOREX? is this a US company or Filipino company? lahat ba ng pinoy na taga US alam ang FOREX?

FOREX is a Filipino door-to-door company. Meron din ito dito sa HK at Macao. Pag maraming Pilipino tiyak ko merong FOREx dyan.

AFAIK, bawal po maglagay ng alahas...at pag dumating yung balikbayan box.(door to door).(wag niyo muna paalisin yung nag-deliver, naka-lista lahat ang laman ng box "itemized" sa resibo) check mo muna yung mga mamahalin or importante na items kung kumpleto..bago mo paalisin yung delivery guys...

basta thru sea cargo (mahigpit sa air cargo)..walang problema sa Taxes.(well,siyempre depende rin kasi sa cargo company ito).

wag nga lang yung buong box na puno ng dvds...hehehe

UPS/FEDEX/DHL/USPS! Wala na yata akong choice.

How much ang pinatong nila na tax diyan at dito sa pinas? Sobra talaga. What is that small door-to-door service you mentioned? Give me contact numbers so I can relay it to my cousin.

san ba sa US cousin mo? dapat kasi nasa city siya na maraming pinoy. Forex nga din un ginamit ko sa san diego. ang alam kong price dati pa $65/balikbayan box ang freight charges. may smaller boxes din sila. wala na bayad ang tax.

why not ask your cousin to look in the yellow pages dun sa city nya, i'm sure kung meron door-to-door service dun catering to pinoys definitely nasa yellow pages yun.

nung nagpadala ako sa ermats ko via USPS, wala pa worth $150 yung pinadala ko e nagbayad ako tax sa postal office nasa $30, then bago nakuha ng ermats ko nagbayad ulit siya ng tax sa philippine postal office nasa P2000.

yes tama si yebo $60-65/box nga door to door deliver wala silang pakialam sa wieght ng box.... saan ba sa US cousin mo? pumunta siya sa mga filipino store usually meron number doon....

$60 lang binayaran ko last march, at least yun lang ang iniwan ko sa cousin ko sa US kasi pick din nila yun sa bahay niyo sa orange county cousin ko nakatira....so pag around CA lang din yun cuz mo ganun din ang price....

So Forex is the best service and not Fedex or UPS? Yun nga lang, it will take 45 days. Unlike the other two you can have it within a week but with tax?

Right? BTW, my cousin lives in NJ.
