I never liked Havaianas. Ang tigas ng sandals nila, parang Beackwalk lang. Mas malambot pa ng di hamak some of the sandals by Nike and Adidas.

Im a huge flip flop fan (pinoy e) even nung sobrang in yung birks nung HS & College...Parehong overpriced para sa akin crocs & havaianas...my havaianas was given as a gift. kung ako di ako bibili nito.... Ok rin beach walk mas mabilis lang mapudpud. Meron akong black/yellow & red/white/blue hehe. Alam ko spartan yun matigas yun white/tan. I like the way Crocs flops look like and I practically see them everywhere on everyone.
But somehow hanggang ngayon I haven't mustered enough guts to fork out the dough to get myself a pair. Parang ang hirap kasi bitawan ang hard-earned cash ko on something that might just fizzle out as a fad.
That's just me though..
Methinks the Battle of Carthage scene in Russel Crowe's Gladiator (yr. 2000) is a homage to that...
