Some of the new cards from the fancy companies are transparent with the chip built into the plastic. Some cards employ both the sim and the magnetic stripe.
Here in Manila, who pays for the fraud?
If the shop accepts the payment and has given the goods / service to the thief, would the shop have to pay for the goods or would the bank pay for it?

March 7th, 2014 08:13 AM #16insurance does for big amounts.
matagal lang na proseso. that is why upon dispute, reverse muna agad while doing investigation if proven fraudulent, either absorb ng bank yung small amounts or claim sa insurance yung malalaking amounts.
the shops dont get sanctioned.

That's why dapat iaadapt na ung system nang banking tulad d2 sa saudi na any transaction made by credit card at atm may text message ka na matatanggap sa phone mo about the amount withdrawn sa atm at kapag sa credit card ay ung amount purchased at kung saan store nagamit credit card. . .

Yup how i wish ganyan. Yung mga kakilala ko ganyan yung card nila (saudi issued) notified agad after transaction.
One time parang na cut yung card niya, he called his bank akala nung bank niya nanakaw yung card since tuloy tuloy ang transaction. Nakabakasyon siya that time dito.
