You can't control how people think or act around you, but you can always control your response.
The most admirable people I know just shrug off petty things like this. They don't derive their own self-worth from what others think.
Again, a lion does not lose sleep over the opinion of sheep.

My parents are very low key people and mingle with people regardless of their financial status BUT as much as I hate to admit it, they're bigoted when it comes to foreigners specially from the middle east, southern asia, and africa.
Just because they think foreigners couldn't understand what they're saying, they comment on their smell, skin color, etc. right in front of them.Damn, son! Where'd you find this?
