Last summer yan. Sa balarong tree at malunggay sa may area namin sila tumambay. This April or May I hope they return foe their fewding session.

Rare and endangered bird din yan. Katala ang name.

Dami din paniki at kalapati dito sa may amin tsaka dalawang exotic looking bird na hindi ko kilala. Mahaba tail nung isa at kulay brown with colorful head and medyo medium build, most probably bigger than a dove. Yung isa, maliit na mabilis kumilos and maganda ang feathers kaso mahirap mapicturan at mailap sa tao. Summer time naglalabasan mga ibon dito sa amin.

Hawk eagle ang wala na ako nakikita. Dati may umaaligid pa sa lugar namin eh. Tago lahat ng ibang ibon eh kapag andyan siya hehehe. My late uncle used to have one as a pet when we were young. Kaso nadadali mga sisiw niya kapag nakakapasok sa kulungan kaya pinakawalan din.

Angas talaga ng agila. Yung titig nila nakakatakot hehe. Alpha predator ang dating. Walang takot kahit mas malaki ang tao. Sumusugod yan kasi very territorial. I vividly remember the reminder na kapag kukunin ang napatay na hayop sa kulungan eh make sure dalawang tao gagawa para may bantay dun sa susungkit ng nadaling hayop. Namamaho kasi.

Sisiw, manok, ahas, bayawak, pusa at ibang ibon na magkakamali pumasok tigok talaga.

Gusto ko may squirrel sa paligid hehe. May aso naman kami na taga-habol tsaka da dami kasi siguro ng makakain na prutas sa paligid kaya yun naman ang pinagkakaabalahan nila.

Pero sadly wala na ako nakikita ngayon.

we live in a large-ish family property, whose owners (my cow-sins) prefered to move away rather than develop it.
hence the trees.

some *#$%^&** let loose their imported pet squirrels...
this is what happens when the pest has no natural enemies...
when formerly we had just the rats on the ground to contend with, now we have to contend with the squirrels above as well.

It makes cars produced here more price competitive kasi the average manufacturing cost difference per unit between Thailand and the Philippines, is about P70K in their studies.
