    yung mga nabibili na century eggs sa supremarkets, luto na ba yon?

    if not how do u cook it? boil it lang parang hardboiled egg?

    seriously, it shouldn't be any different with an ordinary egg, ryt?
    except with their appearances and taste

    wala pong century egg na niluluto..

    kahit un sa congee sa mga resto, pinatong nalang un...

    pag galing sa ref, ganun pa rin sir otep, minsan nilalagay nalang sa toyo.

    wala pa ata akong natitikman na century egg na niluto

    Alam ko hinahalo yan sa sesame oil and black vinegar para lumabas yung lasa.

    Served cold, or sometimes placed on top of congee for added aroma and taste.

    basta PAALALA... wag uminom ng juice pag kumakain ng century egg haha ang PAIT... wala lang gawain ko yan nung bata, d ko talaga masyado maappreciate ang century egg.

    buknoy2002, konting ingat lang kung gusto mo mag experiment...pag mali procedure mo baka lbm or ospital abutin mo B)...

    yup. di na niluluto yun.. babalatan mo nalang hiwain mo narin taops lagay mo sa lugaw o pwede rin kainin mo nalang ng ganun malasa naman sya kahit walang sawsawan

    sawsaw sa toyo lang, masarap na yan. hindi lang sa juice mapait yan, kahit sa softdrinks mapait din, pero masarap na mapait

    kasi sarap nung sa kings congee ng chowking.
    e pag umorder ka ng separate mga P30+ e parang konti lang slices. sa supremarket P40.00 e 4 na itlog na.

    so pagkabili ko sa supermarket, balatan ko lang n slice n ready to eat/serve?

    sabi nga nung guro ko sa animal science class, natuklasan daw iyan sa china nung great depression sa china....the duck egg was napabaon sa *** ng baka....at dahil tag-gutom nuon sa china...nung nakita iyun, kinain pa rin ng mga tao....to their surprise if tasted even better...and so it was born.....century kasi unknown daw for how many century ito nakabaon sa ebak ng baka??? - probably just a legend....
