    100K for a C-section?! Oh my darn gawrshk! Ganyan na ba rates ngayon?!!!! My wife and I are planning to have a new baby by next year. C-section sya. Putragis, dapat pala dagdagan ko raket ko ng maka-ipon husto!

    It's either that or if you're looking for employment, find a company whose HMO covers your wife's pregnancy-related hospital bills, at least partially. ;)

    yung mga normal deliveries sa malalaking hospital mga 100k + na yung pf pa nung ob-gyne tapos 50% ng pf ng ob yung sa anesthesiologist tapos may pf pa yung pedia

    tsk... 40k nga lang sagot ng medicard eh...eh kung 140k total bill mo...tumataginting na 100k!!!!! argggggghhhh

    This sounds real fishy to me, especially ung "excellent service" sa medical city. A friend of mine was confined there, and he complained to no end about the service -- and he isn't the reklamador type. Here's the kicker: the doctor prohibited him from drinking coffee. Nung breakfast nya, guess what was served?

    if you think ang taas na ng cost ng medical treatment ngayon, expect it to skyrocket pag naipasa na ang malpractice bill. hindi lang kasi professional fees ng doctors ang maapektuhan, pati na ang laboratory work-ups and hospital fees

    kung gusto nyo ng mura na child birth sa children's medical center sa banawe kayo pumunta. mura lang dun. c-section ng kumare namin 50k, ang normal delivery dun nasa 20k lang. pero mura din naman sa capitol kung sa ward ka pupunta. kaso lang nga hassle sa ward saka syempre pag kapapanganak mas gusto mo ng may privacy at alam nyo na di lang ang baby ang may diaper, pati ang misis naka-diaper at nag-bleed ang tahi di ba.

    kami kasi nakagawian na namin sa capitol e, suki. basta may nagkasakit sa capitol ang punta. andun mga suking doctors kasi namin, lalo na ang pedia ng 2 kulit lapit lang sa amin nakatira. last month confined ang isang baby namin dun, 4 days 11k lahat pati doctor's fee saka emergency room. erpats ko heart attack, 170k 10 days na-confine (including 4 days sa icu), bawas na ang medicare dun. sa tingin ko mura na yun for that kind of confinement di ba?

    isa pa gusto ko dun may secured parking pwede iwanan kotse kahit ilang araw, although nadale pa din ang 2 mitsu emblem wheel cap ng car ko last time na-confine si erpats.
