hindi ako naniniwala dyan car pricing today is just like what happened in the oil price hike in 2008. sinusubukan ang tao kung hanggang san magbabayad . after the oil price hike, inapply naman sa food. imagine 1 pc chicken meal ngaun P100 na isa.

the more young people come in to work in call centers and the more the downpayment on cars become lower. sa ngaun sa halagang 30K puwede ka na magka-tsikot , the more tataas ang presyo ng tsikot kasi transparent na ang SRP talaga, yun hulog na lang iniisip magkatsikot lang

kaya ako wala plano bumili ng car in the next 5-10 years. i'd rather buy a luxury condo near my work and use my car for leisure purpose na lang. paminsan-minsan gamitin para di gano ma-depreciate ang parts. out-of-town trips are not really a concern. minsan lang yun. out of 365 days or 53 weeks a year. half of that, baka 25 weekend days lang dun talaga out-of-town if i get that much vacation.

i've got two suvs now. my 4x4 crv is 10 years old already with 90T km on the odo. still walang major replacement sa pang-ilalim bec. I live near where i work but still i'm dreaming of the luxury loft and not this ordinary condo i'm living in. Honda casa still services my unit at 6 months interval with average of 4k-5k per PMS or 10k per year.

and i don't even have to heed gh's addiction to lpg. ba't ako mag-lpg if i can maintain a 10 yr. old gas guzzling 7km/liter suv to its original state. naka-lpg para subconsciously naman pakiramadam mo pekeng LV bag kaysa orig na LV bag. saklap din tanggapin yun

I wonder if the Korean automakers would raise a howl as they would be at a a great disadvantage to them...

    Camry is also thai...I think.
Dito naman sa atin, there's no such thing as lowering prices sa cars. Puro nga price increase tayo, kahit na walang dinagdag sa value ng cars. Come to think of it, vehicles are depreciating assets. Nag appreciate lng sya, pag nakatenga sa Casa pa. hahaha!
Nag drop lng naman ang price ng cars dito, pag may lalabas na bago, or di pa talaga sya na update since panahon ni makoy. :D
Lancer old body, Nissan, Mazda 3 comes to mind.
hahaha! I agree...there is no such thing as a price drop here in the Philippines.
