damage control guys tookover asap..

kitam? big pictures pero deep buried sa inner pages like bulletin, sa Star naman kaliit-liit ng picture sa front page

on tv, nasa bungad nga ng tv patrol, pero mga seconds lang, buhos pa rin ang story kay angelo dela cruz

Sorry na lang kay Mayor Atienza, under his watch na nang-maitayo ang building.

Wala din sa CNN and BBC, well they are on a different league... may quota yata ng at least 10 persons killed/died bago mai-report ang accident. Since walang nasaktan, pang discovery/National Geographic stuff na lang ito

i think it's not really enough to topple the Angelo story off the front pages... una.. it's local in nature.. mas malakas pa rin ang hatak ng balita about angelo.. although personally.. nasusuka na rin ako sa klase ng coverage na ginagawa ng dos at siete about it... pati yung sobrang engrandeng paggastos sa pagbabalik nya.. media event... as usual... politicians milking it for all its worth...

Heads should fall. There are a lot of factors that caused the building to tilt and fall down. Even if there is contruction near it, it shouldnt have happen. They could have put soil piles on the nearby construction or necessary barriers on its sides. Maybe the 5 year old building didnt comply with the building code standards. It could have been the soil weakening or other factors that actively contributes to its structure failure. We can only surmise. Well, the builders(Architects/Engineers/Contractors) are all responsible for it as it is still in their liability period of 10 years as the Building & Civil codes require. Good luck to them!
