Stealing on Good Friday...
Viral: Mom & kids photographed stealing sunflowers | Coconuts Manila

In any other scenario, the photos of a mother and her daughter picking flowers would be charming. Unfortunately, in this case, it's downright cringe-worthy.
Despite signs indicating that it is strictly prohibited for anyone to pick (or disturb in any way) the sunflowers along UP Diliman's University Avenue, some people just can't follow rules.
UP student Hazel Lapitan witnessed one such incident on Good Friday, April 18, and promptly took pictures of the culprits. She then shared the photos on Facebook along with a note. We're reposting what she wrote below:
"I was taking pictures of the sunflowers in UP this afternoon when I saw a mother and her 3 daughters uprooting stalks of sunflowers. They weren't just picking the flowers, they took more than 3 stalks of the whole plant and put them in their trunk. Hindi man lang sa likod, dun pa talaga sa harap. Wala ngang dalang pala, hinuhugot lang nila. Sinira pa talaga nila ung mga tanim. Pinagsabihan ko sila na bawal yon pero hindi nila tinigilan.
"Tama ba yang ginagawa niyo? Pwede ba yan?" *"Oo, matagal na tong ginagawa ni Mommy eh."
Will you believe it, a mother teaching her kids to steal. Letting them do the dirty work while she stays in the car.
So I took pictures of them.
Wala na ngang sunflowers next year ganito pa nangyari.
Is this what you do on Good Friday?
God bless you."Last edited by Monseratto; April 25th, 2014 at 02:53 PM.

UP used to be the hot bed of radical activist. Cguro si mommy used to be one of then kaya sanay sa vandalism.
Mommy-mommy don't do that, my parrots will run out of food.

April 30th, 2014 10:33 AM #10It's ironic, people appreciate flowers by plucking them out of the ground and letting them die slowly in vases.
When was the last time you changed them? If it's been a while, I suggest following your mechanic's...
