sinabi mo pa, i think lahat ng bpi branches ganyan talaga...

better suggest to him to transfer his money somewhere else. but in fairness to bpi (not a gold depositor) - got my financing from them and treated fairly well. of all their other services obviously sa counter banking medyo lacking for some reasons or sa dami na rin ng depositor base nila. after all, other banks have some misgivings too, but we have the choice where we can put our hard-earned money.

The only way to make the bank act is for there to be financial consequences.

Palibasa kasi yung BPI baka kaya ganyan dahil alam nila sila ang hahabulin ng clients kasi malaking banko sila so kahit na ganon service eh no choice yung ibang account holders dahil kahit papano eh stable ang BPI.
Achtung!

They have a lot of customers despite this system kasi, so they might feel that they don't need to change anything.
When I tried depositing in Metrobank, I was surprised how relaxing it was (get a # and sit and wait to be called system), versus the pila system in BPI. In fairness to Bpi, mas kaunti rin kasi naman tao sa Metrobank at that time I went there.

most of the bank mahaba talaga ang pila. kasi almost all the company through banking system na ang pagpapasweldo sa empleyado nila. but other banks have this number system as mentioned by other tsikoters like for example in pnb & rcbc. maraming tao talaga lalo na kapag salary days. may pila pa rin sa counter pero hindi lahat nakatayo. they are calling 5 numbers at a time para sila lang ang nakatayo habang iyong iba nakaupo at naghihintay matawag number nila. may tv pa nga sila sa loob para hindi mainip client nila. we have also an account on bank of P.I. but i dont know if my wife experience this long que. hindi kasi niya ako nakakasama kapag nagpupunta siya doon to deposit or withdraw money.
to the TS better advise your friend to move his account on the other bank para hindi mo na uli maranasan ang ganitong sitwasyon kung hindi rin lang mabigyan ng solution ng bank of P.I. ang complain mo.
sana nga may tsikoters dito na taga BPI or my friends/relatives sila working sa B.P.I. to address the complain of their depositors.

November 11th, 2007 01:32 PM #38i'm a preferred client in bpi. this is actually the main reason i bank with bpi. kasi nga may special lane.
suggestion: pag peak hours, talagang mahaba pila sa bpi (as in any bank). off peak hours (especially at around 2pm), maiksi ang pila, which is the best time to do your banking. kapag lunchtime talagang mahaba pila. or pag mondays, and pag sweldo. also kapag bayaran ng mga bills (some people kasi pay their bills thru banks) at naka-tyempo ka ng messenger na may bills payment ng maraming tao, lubog ka.

In my experience with banks, halos lahat naman may mahabang pila especially on Mondays and Fridays when everyone wants to withdraw like there's no tomorrow.
But among all, BPI has the most inefficient system. I simply can't understand why they refuse to put in more tellers especially during the peak hours. This is why I think BDO will lead the way in banking services next year with their innovative system of bank open even on Sundays (at selected branches) plus their extended banking hours so you don't have to lie your way out of the office to make a transaction before the traditional, and outdated, time of 3:00 p.m..

Actually na-suggest na yan sa akin ng wife ko pero I said
huwag na lang. Masyado na akong napika sa BPI.
She maintains a solo account (gold card) with BPI and she
only goes there about once a month to pay her credit card
bills.
Our and/or accounts are with RCBC and PS Bank. At least
there they treat even ordinary clients with dignity,
unlike BPI who see people as mere account numbers.
IIRC they're with AVID. The reported numbers in the TG article are from CAMPI.
