Unfortunately no bro due to budget constraints.

Pero the laptop it replaced is already 6 years old hence the lag is terrible and the difference is night and day with the new one.

They want us to use macbook/air, pero i requested for a thinkpad.

Imo, mas user friendly pa rin ang windows compared to mac OS. not to mention cheaper.

Ah, I see. In our office kasi dictated by IT ang brand and specs nung PC and laptop. Employees can only ask for certain things like bigger hd or RAM.

In our office, you use what is assigned to you. The BPO team uses thin or zero clients that uses no HDD, only direct browser access to our cloud servers. The IT development/testing teams use standard desktops.

Same in our office. But it's thinkpad for all of us. We can ask for bigger ram or HD but you have to justify that. I'm lucky though because I have a PC and a Laptop. My boss gave special approval for this because normally you only get one (either a PC or Laptop)
