That's local ip. Iba pa yung public or private ip. If you look at the properties of your network on your device you'll see something like 192.168.x.x, that's your local device ip. But when you google "what's my ip" you'll see the public ip assigned to you, different from the local ip.
If you do the "whets my ip" search to all your device at home, you'll see their public ip are the same, pero iba iba local ip nila.

Port forwarding may not be enabled on their modem / router.

Trial and error lang. Sa pldt modem, di na maaccess ang admin for port fprwardong function. Sa globe pwede pa.
Yun nga lang costly since may lockup period.
Ayos yan na via team viewer. Napaka simple. UPS lang para pangontra sa sandaling brownout.
Sa mga sulyap sulyap, ok na yan since di naman 24 hours naka titig sa cctv.

They are practically the same. Converge was just the first one to bring fiber delivery to the masses. (I know pldt was the real first one to delvier fiber but they are on a targetted approach, mostly highend subs).
They will deliver a sevice, and your home devices network will use private. The isp gateway that will be shown on whatsmyip resides on the isp provider edge device.

The true reason might be because they dont have port forwarding on their modem/router.
But if they say it wont work, i guess you just need to trust their word even if we are always skeptical.
Gayahin mo na lang ginawa ni ninja via teamviewer. Hehehe

im 99% on PWEDE bro kahit di ko forte yan. like what chronicle said trial and error, im sure may workaround yan hindi pwedeng wala. what if may client sila and fibre lang internet? sa canada clients na namin, yun cctv provider ang atat na atat ilipat sa fibre ang system nila eh.
Actually few months back approved na application mo sa converge and just need to pay for the installation fee but when I called their tech hinde mga daw pwede so cancelled the application.

No. You are still free to use your own router. Something like this
No CGNAT (PLDT as of now):
Internet --> Your Public IP the world sees is assigned to your router --> Your devices
If you want ports open, you can, kasi you control the only router in the setup.
Under CGNAT (CONVERGE residential plans):
Internet --> Your Public IP the world sees is assigned to CONVERGE's "router" --> Your Private IP assigned to your router (NOT ACCESSIBLE FROM THE OUTSIDE WORLD) --> your devices
You CANNOT have ports open. Your public IP is shared amongst converge's customer base.
Think of it as a router in front of your router, and you have no access to the first router, hence no port forwarding of any type.
You can still access the CCTV IF may server yung CCTV provider that your home setup can connect to, parang teamviewer.
Pero if didiretso ka via IP address / static IP or dynamic IP, will NOT work.
Walang workaround unless may kilala ka sa loob ng converge engineering team that will make an exception for you. or if you sign up for a business plan.
For CCTV, you really must insist on having a PUBLIC & unique IP address
